  West Branch: Massachusetts
Section W-14:  Tully Trail to New Hampshire border

This section of the proposed New England Trail would follow the Tully Trail  to the New Hampshire border. It would include three notable waterfalls, several open cliffs, scenic woodland and wetlands, and Tully Lake.

W-14.0 Bliss Hill to base of Tully Mountain
The trail passes through attractive woodland with ledge overlooks, cascading brooks, and riverine wetlands.

W-14.1 Tully Mountain
Tully mountain is a sharp, steep monadnock with extensive barren ledges and attractive woodland.

W-14.2 Tully Lake
Tully Lake, managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, offers boating, fishing, and camping. The proposed New England Trail route would use the alternate Tully Lake Loop
Trail around Tully Lake to the south.

W-14.3 Doane's Falls

A series of seven high-volume waterfalls along Lawrence Brook.

W-14.4 Spirit Falls
A stepped waterfall cascading off a high, wooded ledge.

W-14.5 Jacob's Hill
Jacob's Hill offers expansive views of the Tully River Valley.

W-14.6 Tully River

This part of the Tully Trail follows the attractive, undeveloped course of the Tully river.

W-14.7 Royalston Falls
One of Massachusetts' most scenic waterfalls, Royalston Falls plunges from a high ledge into a boulder filled ravine. From here, the proposed New England Trail route continues north via the Metacomet-Monadnock Trail into New Hampshire. R
